Biography
Gayle Kouklis is a research associate in the Pomerantz Lab. She received her B.S. in Health Sciences at UC Santa Cruz where she worked in an environmental toxicology lab under Don Smith, PhD, examining the effects of lead in the California condor. Shortly after graduating, she joined the Pomerantz Lab at UCSF. She began working to understand the role of ARF in zebra fish fin regeneration, and has since focused on human muscle stem cell characterization and regeneration. In addition to research, she helps train new members.
